Goal
Survive the dungeon. Win by clearing the deck. Lose if health reaches 0.
Cards
- Monsters: ♣ and ♠, values 2-14.
- Weapons: ♦ 2-10.
- Potions: ♥ 2-10.
Each turn
- Draw until 4 cards are visible, unless the deck is nearly empty.
- Either Avoid the room or Face it.
- Select the cards you want to resolve, then press Face Room.
- The remaining visible card carries into the next room.
Important rules
- No consecutive avoids.
- Only 1 potion per room heals you. Extra potions are discarded with no effect.

Weapon chain rule: once a weapon defeats a monster, it may only defeat later monsters with an
equal or lower value. Example: if ♦7 defeats a 6, it can later defeat 6 or less, but not 8.
- Equipping a new weapon discards the old weapon and its monster stack.
Scoring
- Win: score = remaining health.
- Loss: score = negative sum of monster values still left in the dungeon.
